How do I import a FIT file?

Pick a .fit file in the Files app, or choose Wattmark from another app's share sheet. If the app doesn't open by itself from the share sheet, opening Wattmark yourself will pick the file up.

Can I use it without a power meter?

Yes. On climbs steeper than 4%, Wattmark estimates your output from total weight and gradient. It stays silent on the flats, where aerodynamic drag dominates and the error grows. Estimates always come as a range and are always labelled as estimates.

What happens with a truncated FIT file?

Wattmark imports everything it can read and tells you the file was cut short. It will not quietly import a partial ride as if it were complete.

What gets sent for AI analysis?

Only a ride summary — duration, power, heart rate, and the computed metrics. GPS coordinates are never sent. We tell you the destination is Anthropic's Claude and ask for your consent first. If you decline, every metric and chart is still available to you.

How do I cancel my subscription?

From your App Store account settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to stop auto-renewal.

I got a new phone. How do I restore my purchase?

Use "Restore Purchases" in the app's settings screen. You need to be signed in with the same Apple Account.
